Thanksgiving is coming up here in the US, so this year, what're you most thankful for. I'm thankful for my family and friends, who've supported me through a year where a lot of things in my life changed. I'm also thankful for my dog, who always makes me happy no matter what, and for the various books I've read, which provide me with an escape from everyday life. So, how about you?

Wow! that's a hard one. Like you, I'm thankful for family and friends. I'm thankful for my cat who has taught me so much about myself. I'm thankful to be working. Although I don't wish bad things on anyone, I'm thankful that I think I've been able to learn from the mistakes of others. Good topic. Thanks for posting it.

I don't know what I would do without them either.

My computer is my lively hood. I do a lot of recipes, stories, poems, and number of things for my boss.

this is a wonderful topic. it is so much easier and less mentally, and spiritually healthful to complain.

Here's the short list. I'm thankful for.....

my husband. how that man has put up with my wingeing and whining for 24 years is a miracle. he is the better part of me. his patience, humor, and gentle strength are amazing.

my children by birth and my daughter in law. we survived the teen years and they still like and respect me. talking to them every day is a source of laughter and amazement.

my grand daughter. six month olds are just plain cool.

friends. don't know how i'd have made it through life without them.

the zone. throughout this past few turbulent months, anagram mania and the boards have kept my sanity.

my job. it's boring and pointless but keeps me in the style to which i have become accustomed.

most importantly god. without him in control my life would be a complete and total screw up.

Great topic.

My list at present would be my partner of nearly 7 years, friends, and parents for their unwavering support, encouragement and ocasional constructive criticism, my guide dog for always being there and helping me navigate this crazy world, good books, music, and my job.

I am thankful for my friends, BF, and family, who have always been there to support me through the best and worst times in my life. I have to thank the staff at my school for pushing me to be the best I can, and my three cats and dog for always bringing a smile to my face.
